SUSAN BARRETT
Piano Teacher
Susan Barrett is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a degree in piano performance (minoring in cello performance). There she indulged her love of chamber music and vocal literature, accompanying and performing often with fellow students. She pursued graduate studies in Piano Accompanying (now Collaborative Piano) at Arizona State University. She is a registered Suzuki instructor in cello and has been a member of several professional orchestras, including the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra and the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra, and is a fequent chamber musician and piano accompanist, specializing in string and vocal literature. In Sante Fe NM, Susan had a large private studio and was the conductor of String Orchestras I and II with the Santa Fe Youth Symphony. She joined the Renaissance Music Academy in 2005.
